With a safe working load up to 385kgs, the Invacare Octave is a state-of-the-art profiling carebed solution to assist and support the daily life of bariatric users. With a fully electrical 4-sectioned mattress support as standard, the Octave™ provides optimal comfort and support to the user. The carer is provided with excellent working conditions, and the best possible access to the user due to features such as tool free and easy detachable bedends and frameless construction, enabling the mattress to sit directly on the edge of the bed frame.

Great comfort and design

Great comfort and design Invacare® Octave™ is specially designed specifically with the bariatric client in mind. The bed frame extends to the edges of the bed base for better support. Using the hand control, the patient or carer is able to change the positioning of the head and foot section, as well as the height of the bed. Even though this is a substantial bed, we have still preserved all the well-known qualities of the Scandinavian design. The silver steel and beech wood combined with the frameless construction makes the Octave™ appear light.

Delivery and storage

To make delivery and transportation as easy as possible Octave™ will be delivered on a transportation rack. Dismounting and assembly of Octave™ couldn't be simpler despite the size of the bed. Furthermore the transportation rack makes it possible to economise on storage space and makes the Octave™ very easy to move around between locations.
