Inspired by the up and coming Rugby World Cup and Netball World Championships, Invacare New Zealand has launched a black version of its new Horizon Scooter. Emblazoned with a silver fern on the front and sides, the black Horizon makes an impact.
“The Horizon in red has been very successfully since it was launched in June this year. We couldn’t miss the opportunity to bring in a black version, especially given all the sporting events happening this year.” says Grant Hetherington Invacare’s Consumercare Manager.
Underneath the black exterior the Invacare Horizon has an extra strong frame that can comfortably handle up to 135kg. It can travel up to 40km at 8km/hr, climb 12 degree ramps, and has a ground clearance of 7.5cm. Invacare Horizon is an affordable stylish mid-sized scooter. “Will we continue the Horizon in black? Depends on how we do in the World Cups? Regardless, if it proves to be a popular choice then we will keep it in our range” says Mr Hetherington.
Until the end of the Rugby World Cup (21 October 2007), all Horizon Scooters, red or black will come with a FREE Rear Scooter Bag.
