MK6i Sets the Benchmark for Power Electronics

Invacare is ready to launch its newest series of power wheelchair electronics – MK6i™. Key features on the MK6i system ensure that Invacare® MK Series electronics will continue to set the benchmark for the industry. With MK6i electronics, both consumers and providers will have many new options and features, but a key point is that it is based on the same platform as the MK5™ system. Same terminology. Same menu structure. Similar keystrokes. Providers can even use the MK5™ programmer with the MK6i system.

Key new features include:

• Graphic Based LCD Displays on the programmer, display and joysticks
• MK6i Universal Connector System makes it easier to add or remove all the options/electronics
• Invacare MK6i Memory Card allows providers to upload/download programs to and from the chair, and they can use many of the features from Laptop IVS without the Laptop
• New Programmable Features such as Automatic Positioning and Auto
• Scanning make it easier for consumers to access and use powered seating and other modes
• Infrared (IR) Capabilities will become available through an external module
• New MK6i Programmer allows all four drives to be seen at once and makes saving changes even easier
• Troubleshooting Tips available through a “help” key on the new MK6i programmer
