Talks about how the Invacare Homefill II opened up a whole lot of new opportunities

“It changed my life. I can hardly find an adjective for it. It has made me mobile, I walk around more, my head is clearer, I am socially more flexible and I now have scope for greater horizons.

I used to have to tow an oxygen bottle around, drag it through the mud to watch Rugby League and then had to clean the wheels afterwards before putting it back into the car.

The Homefill is light and manoeuvrable and is just marvellous. I am actually walking further and have had improvements in the 6-minute walk test.

I’ve lived an adventurous life, possum trapped in the Ureweras, ridden horses… I have thought about getting back on a horse.”
