The Invacare Soft Controller is ideal for someone who has limited hand function and/or a degree of visual impairment.  Patients with reduced mobility in hands and fingers, will clearly find it easier to operate the Invacare Soft Controller as the buttons are generally bigger and require far less strength to activate as well as to keep down, enabling effortless adjustment of the bed.  The coloured buttons lead to an easier understanding of the functionality of the bed. If they are visually impaired or need to operate the control panel in the dark, small elevations on the panel will help them find your way. The design of the control principle is very logic and without instruction the user can quickly learn how to use it. Thus, the risk of error control is minor.
